SYNOPSIS

9       dnf5 autoremove

DESCRIPTION

12       The  autoremove  command in DNF5 is used for removing unneeded packages
13       from the system.

15       Unneeded packages are all "leaf"  packages  that  were  originally  in‐
16       stalled  as  dependencies  of user-installed packages, but which are no
17       longer required by any such package.

19       Installonly packages (e.g. kernels) are never automatically removed  by
20       this command even if they were installed as dependencies.
