DESCRIPTION

16       trident  is  an  Xorg  driver  for  Trident video cards.  The driver is
17       accelerated, and provides support for the following framebuffer depths:
18       1,  4, 8, 15, 16, and 24. Multi-head configurations are supported.  The
19       XvImage extension is supported on TGUI96xx and greater cards.

CONFIGURATION DETAILS

41       Please refer to xorg.conf(5) for general configuration  details.   This
42       section only covers configuration details specific to this driver.

47              Enable or disable the SW cursor.  Default: off.

50              Disable   or  enable  acceleration.   Default:  acceleration  is

54              Enable or disable PCI retries.  Default: off.

57              For Cyber chipsets only, turn off shadow registers. If you  only
58              see a partial display - this may be the option for you. Default:

62              For Cyber chipsets only, turn on stretching. When the resolution
63              is  lower  than  the  LCD's screen, this option will stretch the
64              graphics mode to fill the entire LCD. Default: off.

114              Inform   driver   to  expect  1400x1050  display  instead  of  a
115              1280x1024.  Default: off.

117       Option "GammaBrightness" "string"
118              Set display gamma value  and  brightness.  "string"  is  "gamma,
119              brightness",  where gamma is a floating point value greater than
120              0 and less or equal  to  10.  brightness  is  an  integer  value
121              greater  or  equal  to  0 and less than 128.  Default: gamma and
122              brightness control is turned off.  Note: This is  not  supported
123              on all chipsets.  Option "AccelMethod" "string" Choose accelera‐
124              tion architecture, either "XAA" or "EXA".  XAA is the  old  (but
125              stable) XFree86 based acceleration architecture.  EXA is a newer
126              and simpler acceleration architecture designed to better  accel‐
127              erate the X Render extension.  Default: "XAA".
