SYNOPSIS

9       SGE_Helper_Service.exe [ -help | -install | -uninstall ]

DESCRIPTION

12       SGE_Helper_Service.exe  helps the sge_execd(8) to run Windows jobs that
13       request to be allowed to display their GUI on the visible  Desktop.  It
14       is  a  Win32  service  that  is  started  at boot time under the SYSTEM
15       account, giving it the permissions to give any process the  permissions
16       to access the visible Desktop.
17       This  service  runs  independently  of the sge_execd(8) (i.e. it is not
18       started and stopped together with the execution daemon) and  there  can
19       be only one SGE_Helper_Service.exe per host.
20       Jobs  can  request  to  be  allowed to display their GUI on the visible
21       desktop by setting  the  job  environment  variable  "SGE_GUI_MODE"  to
22       "TRUE"  or  "1". See submit(1) , option "-v", for information on how to
23       set a job environment variable.

OPTIONS

27       Prints a listing of all options.

30       Installs the service. Only the local Administrator has the  permissions
31       to install the service.

33   -uninstall
34       Uninstalls  the  service.  Only the local Administrator has the permis‐
35       sions to uninstall the service. Only a stopped  service  can  be  unin‐
36       stalled. See the Windows command net.exe for information on how to stop
37       a service.
