NAME

6       xmbind - configures the virtual key bindings of LessTif applications

SYNOPSIS

9       xmbind [-toolkitoption ...]  FILE

DESCRIPTION

12       The  xmbind application is a X Window System client that configures the
13       virtual key bindings of LessTif applications. As every LessTif applica‐
14       tion  loads  either  a  set  of predefinied virtual key bindings or, if
15       applicable, looks up the bindings in some well known places (see Virtu‐
16       alBindings(5x)  )  you  need to use xmbind only when explicitly loading
17       binding files or when you want to reset the bindings to  their  initial
18       values (after you have messed them up).

20       If  a file is specified, its contents are used as the virtual key bind‐
21       ings.  If no file name is given, or the file  can't  be  found,  xmbind
22       looks for the file .motifbind in the user's home directory. If this all
23       fails, xmbind loads the default virtual key bindings, as  described  in
24       VirtualBindings(5x).

26       The return code is zero, if the xmbind client succeeds, otherwise it is
27       non-zero.

OPTIONS

30       -display display
31            Specifies the display to use.

34            Displays a help summary and then exits.

37            Outputs version information about <b>xmbind</b> and then exits.

39       In addition, all the usual X toolkit options may be used, although they
40       seldom may be of any use.

BUGS

48       This xmbind client does not feature more bugs than any other  ISO  9000
49       quality  software - but it is much cheaper.  Thus, the specific feature
50       rate (that is bugs per currency unit) is very pleasant.
