9       toe [-v[n]] [-ahuUV] file...

DESCRIPTION

12       With no options, toe lists all available terminal types by primary name
13       with descriptions.   File  arguments  specify  the  directories  to  be
14       scanned;  if  no such arguments are given, your default terminfo direc‐
15       tory is scanned.  If you also specify the -h option, a directory header
16       will be issued as each directory is entered.

18       There are other options intended for use by terminfo file maintainers:

20       -a     report  on  all  of  the  terminal databases which ncurses would
21              search, rather than only the first one that it finds.

23       -u file
24              says to issue a report on dependencies in the given  file.  This
25              report  condenses  the `use' relation: each line consists of the
26              primary name of a terminal that has use  capabilities,  followed
27              by  a  colon, followed by the whitespace-separated primary names
28              of all terminals which occur in those use capabilities, followed
29              by a newline

31       -U file
32              says  to  issue  a  report  on reverse dependencies in the given
33              file. This report reverses the `use' relation:  each  line  con‐
34              sists of the primary name of a terminal that occurs in use capa‐
35              bilities, followed by a colon, followed by the  whitespace-sepa‐
36              rated  primary  names  of all terminals which depend on it, fol‐
37              lowed by a newline.

39       -vn    specifies that (verbose) output be written  to  standard  error,
40              showing  toe's  progress.   The optional parameter n is a number
41              from 1 to 10, interpreted as for tic(1M).

43       -V     reports the version of ncurses which was used in  this  program,
