NAME

6       dpkg.cfg - dpkg configuration file

DESCRIPTION

9       This  file contains default options for dpkg. Each line contains a sin‐
10       gle option which is exactly the same as a normal  command  line  option
11       for  dpkg except for the leading dashes which are not used here. Quotes
12       surrounding option values are stripped. Comments are allowed by  start‐
13       ing a line with a hash sign ("#").
